The Classes are very informal and relaxed.  Everyone works at there own pace.

    Hello Dan,
I am in Toronto, and looking for woodcarving classes for my 9 year old son. He has a real interest in whittling and woodcarving. Do you ever do classes in East Toronto and if not, do you know of someone in Toronto who does offer them?

    • blogadmin says:

I don’t know anyone specifically I would try contacting the Ontario woodcarvers association. They might have a name of someone in your area.

    Good day,

I have a few projects in mind but need guidance to start. I did a little bit of wood carving in school a long time ago and not enough to permit me to start my projects. I am wondering if you know anyone in Eastern Ontario that gives classes or if you do virtual classes?

    • blogadmin says:

      Hello Lucille

I have no classes planned as long a Covid is an issue. I have thought about virtual classes but I’m not sure how that would look. Unfortunately I don’t know anyone in Eastern Ontario whos is giving instruction. Please contact me directly at dangallagher@carving.on.ca and I will add you to the email list for future classes. Please also feel free to call if you would like to discuss what you may need to get started with your projects. Contact information is available on the webpage.
